Mr Pope is a Yale-educated Apache/Cherokee who has moved in — and out — of many fields in his 45 years with jobs as diverse as researcher for a nuclear arms control think-tank, a news reporter for a local television station, a digital matte painter for such big budget (soulless) extravaganzas as Star Wars Episode 1 and Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes. Mr Pope has most recently reinvented himself as a writer/director whose work in commercials focuses primarily on the fashion/luxury/perfume markets as well as music/performance videos. He is currently developing his first feature film.
